Re: New Z4 owner - hi!

Hi everyone, I've just bought my first BMW, a silver Z4 2.0 and I love it to bits! I spent 10 hours on Monday driving the length of the country It has that effect, your journeys will only get longer as the smile on your face from driving it broadens  Welcome, very nice. A word of caution before you spend money. My Z4 is fitted with the standard windbreak that slots between the 2 roll hoops but I have to say I don't think it is as effective as the one that was fitted to my Z3. Noticed a bit of a draft around the neck although my hair isn't long enough to blow aroun...

Hi Bigpete Word of caution when buying a Z4 Wind Deflector, you'll need roll over hoops with WD channels in them if you're looking for the "solid" type. Actually, i read on another board that someone bought these hoop covers from the dealer, used thm as a template to drill the holls in th...

IF you know so little about cars in general, and the Z3 in particular, why don't you read about it in the Owner's Handbook? It is filled with useful information, and even if your car does not have one, they do not cost the earth to buy from any dealer. You may already have one, stored in a black wa...
