Re: New Z4 owner - hi!
Hi everyone, I've just bought my first BMW, a silver Z4 2.0 and I love it to bits! I spent 10 hours on Monday driving the length of the country It has that effect, your journeys will only get longer as the smile on your face from driving it broadens  Welcome, very nice. Personally i would look...

A word of caution before you spend money. My Z4 is fitted with the standard windbreak that slots between the 2 roll hoops but I have to say I don't think it is as effective as the one that was fitted to my Z3. Noticed a bit of a draft around the neck although my hair isn't long enough to blow aroun...

Gulp! Makes the £4500 i got for my '99 2.8 look like a great deal. But like me, i bet it was still a lot more than what a dealer was offering. This is getting silly now! If that's what you have reduced it to, I shudder to think what a dealer would value it to take it off your hands! :shake: ...

There was a chap being interviewed on breakfast news this morning, a road safety campaigner. He is in favour of the proposed speed reductions. His daugher was mown down and killed by a speeding driver. Apparently the driver was pumped up on cocaine and was going wayyy over 70mph when the accident ha...

The country is in the s**t financially, partly because of this useless government so they need bring in as much revenue as they can to try and rebalance the books. Placing these cash machines, sorry speed cameras on almost every road is one way of doing this, as they know that the motorist is an eas...

Re: Read All About It
IF you know so little about cars in general, and the Z3 in particular, why don't you read about it in the Owner's Handbook? It is filled with useful information, and even if your car does not have one, they do not cost the earth to buy from any dealer. You may already have one, stored in a black wa...

Well, after chatting with the lunch venue pub, I reckon that unless something dramatic happens it's more likely that the cruise will go ahead. They've had almost no snow, so if all else fails, we can go there and take over the pub for the day. Im more concerned about this http://news.bbc....

Kind of glad this question has been asked, as it made me re-read my owners manual. Just realised I have both DSC and DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) I thought the latter was a replacement for DSC, but is actually an optimised version. Also read, for DTC to be activated the telltale light must be ON. ...

I was offered 3k px on my 1999 2.8, no way was i letting it go for that! Ended up selling it for 4500 via PH. Was ideally looking for 5k min, but felt i effectively got close to that figure for it. I got a quick sale which i wanted, thus didnt need to pay out extra to keep it insured, or pay to keep...
