Re: 1998 1.9 with hardtop for sale

Any ideas on how to value my car?

Hardtops and fittings going for around a grand on eBay
Cars for breaking seem to be in hundreds

My car is not a breaker by any means but would benefit from a TINY bit of paint and TLC
it will have 12 months Mot

Is 1500 to high?

LUGGAGE RACK FITTINGS

Does anybody have a facelift boot lid with the domed bolts for the OEM Luggage rack fitted?
Or a source for something similar

Also I will be selling my trusty 1.9 after 14 years of ownership
usual wear and tear for a 145000 mile car but has a hardtop and full service history

Will buy or swap.

Hi everyone Long time since I posted I'm getting a Jap import . A bit daunting but the mileage, spec' and condition is too tempting. It has a 2.0 6 cylinder engine with auto gearbox. Re: wanted m roadster

OK chaps A few questions: Is an M version a "high maintenance" animal? How much more complicated are they than say a 3 litre? What can or does go wrong. I am aware of VANOS and Bootweld issues. My BMW specialist doesn't see them as a problem. They might sniff an "earner" but I do trust Herring and P...

These 2 are on my checklist.
40000 miles unmodified is attractive but for £1200 more what a motor Liam has. Difficult choice. Want to have a viewing week and see as many as I can.
Love to have a third one to see.

I plan to "stockpile" and use a couple of low milers in the next 12 months. It's better than money in the bank. 3 litre and M on the list. Shouldn't lose much money over 5 to 10 years ( dream on) Would sound a bit flash if it wasn't for the fact that it would be cheaper than a well spec'd Euro/ Jap ...

Hi all I have water in me zed! When I pull away from rest there is a sloshing sound of moving water to the left rear of my car. I think water has got in through the rear of the roof. Anyone know where the drainage holes are? It's not the battery box or the spare wheel area. Could it be in the sills?...
