Z3 for sale - read Car Trader

Hi folks, I just had to add a post to this as I have read the whole correspondence. I have no issue with anyone buying and selling cars as a hobby, but Ferark you are clearly a motor trader - buy and sell cars part time whilst a graphic designer..... but bought 4 part exchanges from a garage.... I l...

Z1 Roadster For Sale

Hi Folks, You may remember I advertised my Zed for sale a few months back, and had some great comments. Well, I now have my Porsche Club Sport in the garage, but the guy from Europe who was buying my Z1 - not connected with this site - has disappeared.... I do fortunately have his holding deposit th...

Z1 for sale - Reduced

Based on your feedback guys, I need to make my fully restored car (minus exhaust) more attractive, so as I have a car waiting and I was always open to offer, the final price (as they say in the Middle East) is 15,000 GBP! Add your shipping, VAT and Import duties and that brings the car down to 20K l...

Z1 for sale

Thanks for the input Gary, and for reference for others you have to pay 10% import tax and 15% (at the mo) VAT on an import to the UK based on transaction price plus shipping costs. But of course the rules vary depending upon where you are shipping it to - Europe is different and so is the US - and ...

Z1 Roadster For Sale in Bright Red

Hi folks, I previously listed this on the Z1 forum, but then someone suggested I should place in the 'stock exchange' so here goes. I am sadly putting my 1990 Z1 up for sale as I have a 1988 911 Carrera Club Sport waiting from a friend in the UK - one of only 47.... Anyway, my Z is one of 4 that wer...

Z8 with Alpina kit For Sale !!!

Hi Folks, In my search for updates on any Z8's for sale in the Middle East, I have found a gorgeous Alpina Z8 in Silver with Red sports leather trim. Proper car with the right options and superb alpina wheels. I know the issues with the Alpina versus standard car, but what a rare piece of machinery ...

Regarding the aircon - it works very well. As you can imagine, I'm in one of the hottest coutries out there, with temperatures rising to 49.9 degrees C during July - September (never gets to 50 as if it does the govt. insists the construction workers have to be allowed to stop....even though my SUV ...

Z1 Sadly for sale

Ah, sadly an expensive option as I found out the first time around!! Plus as my (current) wife used to sell Z1's when they were new in 1989-1991, and then has worked for Porsche for 16 years (where we met) I don't think I'd find it easy to replace her with another car nut with similar taste. A...

Z8s in the UAE

It's been some time since I posted an update on here as very few Z8's have been on the market, and all of a sudden we have two - one with only 4,000 miles on the clock... I'll get prices from the traders for those who are interested in the next couple of days...

Absolutely Felix - the owner has been told and like many his car has been at the garage for over two years whilst the guys are waiting to find a wrecked car without too much damage, or repair the relevant parts - but he is happy to wait!!!???!! Actually, the Green Z1 in Saudi would be ideal for him,...

Cheap Z8

Hi Chris, I'll get you the prices for the ones that are currently available over the next week or so. The used car market in Dubai works a little differently than many, in that although the cars may be with 'dealers' they are really acting as brokers for much of the expensive stuff, and the vehicle ...

Panels

Hi Jet, Thanks for the msg, I will follow up on that. Background is I always wanted a Z1 in the UK and a friend of mine had a top rot one he wouldn't sell me! I was 22 when these were new and loved them. My wife actually sold them in the UK when they were new! Moved out to Dubai, and in one of those...

Z8 Roadster

If anyone really wants a Z8 for a reasonable price, we have quite a few out here in the UAE - all low miles as mainly bought for collections or status symbols - and relatively cheap compared to Europe. Naturally, they are all outstanding condition. You need to ship at around £1000 with a reputable s...

Wanted - Rear Wings

Hi Folks, I am almost finished with the full restoration of my Z1 to former glory, but when the car was being resprayed and all new panel rubbers being fitted, the *@@kwits at the garage overtightened the panel fixings on both rear panels to the body tub and have nicely cracked them on both sides!! ...

AC for Z1

I'm in Detroit right now, but photos will be done this weekend - that's Friday/Saturday in Dubai, and uploaded along with any other I can give - you'll see it's quite a neat fitting using the normally plugged hole on the heater panel.

I've just joined the register and was browsing through the forum and came across this thread - I have just bought one of only 4 Z1s that was imported into the United Arab Emirates officially by the local BMW dealer when the car was new. The buyer requested the dealer fit AC - for obvious reasons as ...
