You are close.. the part is listed on the diagram number 11.
There are 2 sizes
41122292143 uses 4 on the car and is used to hold the handbrake onto the floor.
41622290686 Receives the bolts that hold the undertrays and sill panels on.

Hi Bluebaur has a solution that looks good and doesn't require removal of the manifold. I changed the manifold gaskets on a z1 last year, Shall we say it was character building. :head: There is a tool that allows the drilling and re-tapping of the cylinder in situ .. but you do need a 90 degree head...

No wing mounted indicator repeater either. MOT testers also like the Fog light to work on the offside, so you have to run a link cable from the nearside light fitting.

Hi Cabrioot,
The part is the same as shown in the picture above (3) its the same part as used on current BMW's.
To change it on a Z1 you have to seperate the gearbox and torque tube to gain access to the drive shaft and joint inside.

Yes the green car still has the LSD fitted. The diff ratio is different so you tend to change gear quicker than if you where in the red car. Terry, Does the window work correctly with hood down.? As the hood has been changed i would think that it is binding in the hood track. Have you loosened the fixings for the hood hinge, it has horse shoe shims that are the same as used on the door mechanism fixing points. You could also try lubricat...
