As per title... I have a z3 propshaft from my 2.8 that I think was changed in error, and I beleive it to be OK. I used to have a bra on my mazda 323... I liked it, and it did keep the stone chips off. Unfortunately, they are not water-proof, and the water collects on the inside, along with dust and dirt - so you end up with a wet end of the bonnet which can encourage rust, or a load of dust which causes loads...

yeah it's all OEM - It looks loke it needs re-siliconing. I can see the 2 staples at the centre-bottom still in place... so it's just the sip given way, but nothing broken. Is the zip in situ, or does it some off after fitting??? Does anyone have this zip or staples that I could use.... handsome rew...

Another rear plastic screen problem...

Ok, so I was cleaning the car after work today, and the zip gave way on the rear screen with minimal pressure applied.... The screen is fine, but it just needs re-zipping. Clearly I have to remove it then re-fit it... is there somewhere I can get the tools to do this, or am I looing at a replacement...

I have a Z3 2.8 and the red dip-stick sticks out like a sore thumb... my neighbour over the road has a Z4 2.0 2006 I think... but...

Where the hell is the damn oil dip-stick, I have looked for a while but I can't see it anywhere! User manual can't be found?

I get tons of condensation, worse with hard-top.

It's the worst car for condensation I have ever had (MK2 Golf close 2nd)... must be some design fault that lets so much air in and circulate... It's quite amazing I know.

If it's not the ICV, then check it could be one of the leads running to it, or the airbox sensor. Is the air intake ducting all ok? I had a 2 inch hole in mine when I took it out, and made the car run terrible. ICV is the correct area to look 'Replace cam shaft sensor' the generic 'Fix-all' for BMW's

I had the airbag light come on a few months ago, and I was told that, when it failed to reset last time, that it was the occupancy sensor in the passenger seat... I fitted one of these boxes from ebay that had a resistor inside it, and when I took the car to the garage today, it still failed to turn...

Has anyone ever needed to do this???

I noticed when changing part of my air intake that the throttle cable is a little slack, and it might explain the lack of apparent throttle opening for the first inch or so of pedal depression.

If I blip the throttle to say 2500, upon dropping the revs dip to about 300 or so then go back to normal idle at about 750.... does this all the time and is a real pain, like when changing down from 3rd to 2nd, the revs are never in the right place. also noticed kangarooing and spluttering when cold...

Yup, with sub 40,000 miles and good spec @ BCA car auctions in Enfield today. It was a kind of very dark blue colour..... looked in great shape too.# There was a similar Z4 2.5 in graphite with similar spec, age and milage also went for about £6,700. Ive experienced that too. 321bhp (Terry) very kindly sent me some black roof fabric off his old top, and I just cut out some patches and glued them on to the wearing surface with 'Stormsure' from ebay. Works fine, and you can't really see the patches anyway unless you look hard. It was a good repair...

What about long term implications. I'm all for retrofits, but they have to be as good or better in the long run to be worthwhile, otherwise you are just openning up to a world of pain later.
