Wanted: hardtop fitting gauges
Looking to buy or borrow a set of hardtop measuring gauges so I can finally fit my hardtop correctly and evenly.
Anybody know of a set going spare? Or has a set I could borrow with the hook spanner (happy to pay postage both ways).
Many thanks.

Re: Water in footwell
Even with the hardtop fitted, I suspect that water still goes into the front seal above the windscreen and should run down inside the A-pillar. There is a bung at the end and the rubber seems to spilt and ceases to redirect the water downwards, instead allowing it into the car. It will drip from in...

Water in footwell
Hi all, I’ve been wondering why my Zed has been suffering from high condensation recently. I have a hard top fitted and it seems to be a pretty good seal for the elements, but every time I’ve been out to her, the inside of the windscreen has been dripping with water. Finally got around to searching ...

Re: Hardtop demist switch connector?
Just seen your other post. You need a pre-facelift switch. That might well be the connector, as the pre-facelift one switches the full current without a relay, so will have larger pins on it. Cheers R. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk Thanks Robert. My logic got there in the end, hence the other...

Hardtop demist switch connector?
Hardtop fitted and I have a switch, but behind the panel between the seats, all I could find in the depths was the electronics block shown in the picture. What's this for and if its for the demister I'm guessing I have the wrong switch (also in photos below). If it's not for the demister switch, the...

Looking to replace the oem speakers in the footwells (5.5 inch) and behind the seats (4 inch).
My head unit is a Pioneer MVH-X580DAB (50w x 4)
Any recommendations for speakers? I want clear and punchy with decent bass levels that don't distort.

Hi all, Returning roadster forum member here. Around 2007 I owned my very first BMW: a facelift Steel Grey 2.8 that I adored. Re: Wheel sizes?
18” wheels split opinion. To the best of my knowledge no Z3 (not sure on Ms) left the factory with 18” wheels. Some people say they get on fine with them. Others take them back off. I have some on one of my cars and they have caused tramlining. But new suspension and tyres may sort that. 18” wheels...

Can anybody tell me what setup I could go to on my 99 2.8?
I’d quite like 18” wheels and a staggered setup if possible (bigger rears).
Can’t seem to find anything definitive on what would work.
