You get it sprayed for €250 so costs you €750, but you would get €200 back easily for a good condition normal bumper.

I'm contemplating it myself..

You can get them from the dealer in Munich for this price, they have a 1 day delivery time so are made brand new in their Dingolfing factory.

There is someone selling a clear set on zroadster.org here: https://zroadster.org/threads/various-z3-items-for-sale.12372/ But, I have repaired these adjusters myself before. You just have to take them apart and bring them "back to life". See my thread here: http://zroadster.zroadster.net/...

A few points I remember when I failed on this: - Drive the engine warm and hard beforehand. A 10 mile trickle might not even do it if you are plodding along at 30-40 mph. Well, finally sorted. You have to make sure to "slot" the screw into the white plastic holder in the angel eye headlights, pushing wont do it..

They also need a bit of encouragement the first few times, as the movement is very stiff.

It seems odd that the TuV require adjustment motors, for when I bought new LHD headlamps on moving to France, they were not fitted with adjustment motors, and never have problems in passing a French Controle Technique test. So much for EU standardisation! Mike, after the TUV guy telling me I'm only...
