Absolutely David, this is by far the best way to get the most use/wear out of rear tyres. All it costs is a few ££ at your local tyre house to swap them on the rims and re balance.

That "lump" in the carpet is exactly that. A lump in the carpet, there is nothing behind it but a void. If you care to pm me your email I will send pictures of how I adapted mine into a Proper foot rest pedal. PM Sirius -c and ask him also.

Hey Baz, you could try going all modern and fitting an LED type interior light bulb, I have, and on these dark nights the light output is much better than the old one. Just an Idea?

Visit your local Halfords, they keep a range of adaptive stereo cables. There are relatively inexpensive, I've used them before and have one in my 2000 Z3 connecting a Sony unit to the original loom plugs.

It sounds as though you were the biggest loser in this accident and if the claim by the owner of the lorry wasn't too big you shouldn't lose all your no claims discount. Shop around if you really want to keep Zedding. I'm sure you can come up with a solution. Good luck, Tony.

The trouble with self tappers is that they are very prone to vibration, often making them come loose. I got these type of splitters while in the US and intend fitting with self tappers with some 3M double sided tape as an extra buffer to help stop vibrating loose.

I have to disagree Barry, I test up to 9 vehicles every day and part of the seat belt test is it ensure that when fully extended and plugged into the buckle on the seat or floor when released it will recoil fully to the seat back. I wouldn't use anything other than silicon spray on the belt webbing, it is almost odour less when dry and isn't greasy.

Colbert has hit the nail on the head. The biggest problem with slow recoiling belts it the fact they are dirty which causes friction and the belt won't wrap freely around itself. If you put the car in gear and crank the starter does it try to move or not? If it tries to move it's unlikely to be the pressure plate, more likely hydraulic fault. If it doesn't try to move the clutch itself is faulty/broken.

Make sure you've measured correctly as the side roundels on a Z3 are 78mm dia. Boot and bonnet are both 82mm not as often sold as an 82mm and 73mm set.

Hi Stephen, as far as I'm aware the 4 mounting screws and locknut adjusters are merely for aligning the headlight with the body work and bonnet, not adjusting the beam alignment.
