Heater Blower resistor

Update on my heater blower, I rang my local BMW dealership and ordered a resistor giving year and registration, I was told that they don't keep the part in stock so will have to order and take payment, fine I thought..... will ring when arrive... great :) , so checked the link that was posted on her...

Heater blower problem !

Hi has anyone had any problems withe their heater blower?, mine was working fine then last week I turned the blower on and found it only worked on number 4 :head: , does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Ive had loads of sports bikes and enduros over the years, I had a big off 4 years ago and never owned one since until this year when I fancied a change.... well that and an over weight middle aged bloke in leathers on a sports bike isn't a good look ! so I purchased a Yamaha xv 1900 midnight star...

Glad you've found AND solved the problem and it wasn't too expensive, I keep hearing about all of these little problems that occur with the z's and can't help feeling a little concerned for mine as she's been parked up in storage since early November, i know with any "classic" you will get...

It could the water in your washer bottle, does it smell after you squirt the screen, sometimes the fluid goes off if not being used, easy fix...drain tank and refill :) but if it's not that well :shrug

I had that happen to the o/s front :head: , I didn't want to part with to much dosh so tried takin it off and cleanin it first :shake: , that did bugger all so I got a seal kit off fleabay £20 replaced and cleaned all bits and all seems ok :D , that was about 6 month ago, really easy to do which was...
