There is a loveley looking Imola red S50 for sale.

But it's at a dealer 170 miles away, and I'm concerned about going for S50 over S54.

What would you buy?

Bit of background: I had a Z3 3.0. Sport 2002 year. Loved it, but didn't love it much come winter as it would freeze on the inside of windscreen. Owned it happily for 18 months and swapped for a TTQS, hated that so sold it a month later for a Z4 3.0 2004 year. Have owned it 18 months. Love it mostly...

Z4 2.5si 2007 or 3.0se 2004?

Have found two cars I like. Both are the same price. One is a 2004 Z4 3.0 se with 66k miles, and a good spec list. The other is a 2007 Z4 2.5si with 79k miles, and also has a good spec list. The 2.5si is more on insurance (but not by much) Would there be a good reason to pick one over the other? I l...

Re: Looking to buy Z3m...

Test delve a z3m this morning (not the yellow one), it wasn't in great shape.

I still fell in love with the 6 cylinder power plant though!

So different from our 3.0.

Just need to find a good example now. Hopefully enforce the good weather stops!

Looking to buy Z3m...

We recently sold our Z3 3.0, and have a TT quattro sport instead. It's not very fun. Missing the Z3. However, hardly any 3.0's about so going to test drive a Z3M tomorrow. It's the S50 engine - would it be worth finding an S54 to test drive to compare it too? Would there be much of a difference or r...
