There is a loveley looking Imola red S50 for sale.
But it's at a dealer 170 miles away, and I'm concerned about going for S50 over S54.
People have warned me off them in the past because of Vanos / nikosil? Issues...

Jay has his Phoenix S54 on Ebay at the moment. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181182082689?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 I have an S54 so I'm biased but I would have a Z4M over a Boxster. I spotted this one, but I preferably want something OEM and looks like there will be quite ...

What would you buy?
Bit of background: I had a Z3 3.0. Sport 2002 year. Loved it, but didn't love it much come winter as it would freeze on the inside of windscreen. Owned it happily for 18 months and swapped for a TTQS, hated that so sold it a month later for a Z4 3.0 2004 year. Have owned it 18 months. Love it mostly...

Z4 2.5si 2007 or 3.0se 2004?
Have found two cars I like. Both are the same price. One is a 2004 Z4 3.0 se with 66k miles, and a good spec list. The other is a 2007 Z4 2.5si with 79k miles, and also has a good spec list. The 2.5si is more on insurance (but not by much) Would there be a good reason to pick one over the other? I l...

Re: Looking to buy Z3m...
Test delve a z3m this morning (not the yellow one), it wasn't in great shape.
I still fell in love with the 6 cylinder power plant though!
So different from our 3.0.
Just need to find a good example now. Hopefully enforce the good weather stops!

I'm loving this one and a good price for the mileage and rarer colour http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z3-M-Roadster-2000-Immaculate-Dakar-Yellow-/330707077139?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4cffad8813 Has to be worth a look, Tim. Great car, but I really don't think I can do yellow! It's so close too

Looking to buy Z3m...
We recently sold our Z3 3.0, and have a TT quattro sport instead. It's not very fun. Missing the Z3. However, hardly any 3.0's about so going to test drive a Z3M tomorrow. It's the S50 engine - would it be worth finding an S54 to test drive to compare it too? Would there be much of a difference or r...

Looking to change the z3 to something a bit more modem such as a z4. Been looking around and test drove a potential car at an independent garage. They have offered £3k for my 3.0 sport on 02 plate with 84k miles. I thought this was fair price, but have just typed the details into 'What Car's valuati...

similar happened to my zed recently by a hit and run. Never happened on any other cars of mine before. After looking through this forum, it seems pretty common on the zed's - do you think it's because they are small/low to the ground, so people in 4x4's maybe don't see them when reversing, or maybe ...

I am quite happy with the gear change on the zed. Its a meaningful change, and the whole car feels it. Going into the mini, the gearchange might be easier to make it smooth, but it's so much more of a heavy gear change that in stop start trafficmy left leg will hurt like crazy. Whilst on trip throug...

has anyone ever downgraded their Z3 to a Mazda MX5 mark 1 or 2? Where best to advertise Z3 for sale
So I have put my Z3 up for sale this week. I have always used Pistonheads to sell my cars, and been very successful. But I can't help thinking that there are not many 'enthusiasts' out there that are looking for Z3's at the moment, and that it is most likley to go to a driver who is just looking for...
