As the Z3 will be gone next weekend, and sold with the 18's, I have 4x original spec alloys (usual wear and tear), with tyres (1-2mm usable rubber on each) up for grabs. Prob could get a couple of bob for these but happy to offer up for free for collection as you lot have been a good help throughout...

Flange / no flange...It's a simple welding job for any exhaust shop to cut /fit flages or use a coupling piece if no flange is required... Not sure what your guys there charge for doing stuff like that, but here its about £20.00...so not exactly expensive... Thanks mate. I made some calls yesterday...

thanks but i don't think it is. the pre-facelift 2.8 has a unique exhaust with a 2 bolt flange at the cat end, pretty sure no other models have this setup, thanks tho
have found quite a few facelift ones available, the slip on ones... anyone ever tried to modify to fit one?

also putting up a wanted post for stock system, so no swaps needed if i get one

can we ask the reason for getting rid of the quad setup :?: sure, looking to return car to stock to possibly sell in near future as i fancy a 3.0 z4 :) its a lovely well made system, sounds great and helps the 2.8 breathe as it should, recent job change etc means i can afford a z4 in a few months.

16mm spanner did the job! in situ
now, the little metal caps seemed upside down, i.e curving upwards and not down which would match the curve of the mount... any idea why this is? as this way causes metal to metal contact on the bush insert and the cap thing... surly this will cause noise?

Hoping to make this too, coming from Southampton.
Parking is (if accepted) on the grid, or paddock, or main field.
We should try to get grid/paddock, done this before in both 200sx and celica clubs on themed events.
Hope second stage of my exhaust build is done in time :ugeek:
