Roof UV / Shower Cap
Hi Guys Not sure whether to call this a UV cover/shower cap/roof protector as it works as all if the above - Basically its a fabric cover to protect your roof from UV damage/snow/pigeons/tree sap & leaves/give some extra help in torrential rain. Its a really nice piece of kit, not just a bog sta...

Re: Door Pull Removal/Replacement?
David if I'd seen this a couple of days sooner I would have definitely had it off you - Unfortunately I did a bit of a duff job and glued/epoxied the handle back together with a metal washer as reinforcement - I'll see how well it holds out - Hopefully it's a good fix - Certainly feels strong enough...

Wanted - Montreal Blue Rear Bumper
On the off chance anyone has one in decent condition or knows of a Montreal Blue Car going to the breakers - After someone side swiped me and cracked the bumper/scuffed the paint - Failing that I'll have to get another colour and respray!

Re: 1.9 M44 1998 rear exhaust section required urgently for
http://i60.tinypic.com/6eekqf.jpg Incase anyone is interested - Here's mine from the same seller - Decent bit of kit, but definitely louder than the original that I removed. Had zero problems fitting, there was a flattened section to clear the subframe all for £45- I had x10 more problems with my r...

Door Pull Removal/Replacement?
I was wondering if anyone had attempted to remove and or replace the actual door pull handle (not the openy bit, the slam the door shut bit. The top of the pull near the electric mirror switch is snapped so now I have to have the window and top down all the time and pull the door shut - Not a proble...

Re: Changed thermostat today
Any advice on where is best to get the Meyle hoses from - Usually I'd have just gone straight for Samco blue silicon ones but there doesn't seem to be a kit for the M44 engined Z3 :S

Re: Changed thermostat today
When you guys did the change were there any washers to replace on the radiator & engine block plugs? Did you also change the hoses to the thermostat as pelican parts recommends - I'm getting all my bits and pieces together ready to do the job, just want to make sure I'm not missing anything befo...

Re: M44 Z3 - On The Road to Repair!
Thanks Vince, I had a look around on ebay, looks like it might be a case of waiting out the correct colour, but even then chances of one that is in good condition are pretty slim, that said most things would probably be better than mine now - See below for the damage - Still can't believe I had the ...

Re: M44 Z3 - On The Road to Repair!
Well I've got more to worry about now than a possibly dodgy thermostat, 1 day parked up outside my flat in Brixton and someone has decided to use the rear bumper as a parking guide, big gash in the paint right where the rear wing meets the bumper and a flat passenger side rear tyre :( Tyre fitter co...

Re: M44 Z3 - On The Road to Repair!
I saw eurocarparts do them for £25,looks like a fairly involved job though with the system to bleed etc, not sure it's something I'd want to take on with a couple of axle stands and a socket set? I'm really annoyed there isn't a Haynes manual around as that's usually my bible when I get a new car. M...

Re: M44 Z3 - On The Road to Repair!
Thanks for the advice guys, especially Del, managed to get the car fully serviced, oil and air filters, spark plugs, new front calipers (the rubber boots were totally shot on the current brakes) and started drying the car out (drivers side footwell was soaked). Turns out the cat wasn't what was ratt...

Re: Breaking - Z3 1.9 4 cylinder M44 Atlanta Blue pre-faceli
Long shot here as it was a while ago - You wouldn't happen to have a drivers side or even a pair of the beige interior doorpanels would you - Some gorilla managed to wrench the door pull off mine and I'm having more trouble than I thought I would finding a replacement! -As well as some fixing screws...

Re: Breaking Pre facelift 2.8 Z3 Roadster most parts availab
Might be a little late on this one - I saw that the doorcards have both gone already which was what I was really after, but I was also wondering if you had the screws/fixings for the top of the seat belt turret, I'm missing the screws and caps from the passenger side on mine and although they probab...

Re: 1.9 M44 1998 rear exhaust section required urgently for
Might also be interested in one of these if someone finds a decent place to get hold of them, mine scraped the MOT the other day but there's no way it'll go through in 12 months time and I'd rather pre-empt and get it sorted sooner rather than later!

Re: M44 Z3 - On The Road to Repair!
Surprising the bodywork isn't too bad at all - It seems to have even had a new roof in the past couple of years from what I could tell. Plenty of scratches to the door and chips to the edge from what I'm assuming is supermarket car park crunches, but apart from that. Collecting it on Thursday and th...

M44 Z3 - On The Road to Repair!
Hi Guys A while back I came on here to seek advice on my Dads Z3M Roadster – He eventually sold it on... So I decided I needed my own Z3 fix... £700 later I’m the owner of a decidedly ropey Z3 1.9 Roadster – She’s got the M44 Engine on about 112k and needs to be brought back from the brink as she’s ...

Re: Z3M Roadster - 41k, Estoril Blue, Full Black Leather
Against my advice on instruction from my Dad he's asked me to lower the price to £7500.
I think he's crazy but the car is literally just taking up garage space now which he needs.
If it doesn't go at this price I'll be shocked!

SOLD Sold today, thanks for all the help everyone!
