Yes the price of the hardtops with the fitting kit are quite expensive (I'm just trying to get back what I paid) This seems to be down to the fitting kit not been readily available. Might be lots of cars with fitting kits but no hardtop - which is a shame I think the hardtop is handy in winter and g...

Re: ABS error code - speed sensor required ?

had an idea - would it be worth swapping the 2 rear abs sensors around ? then reading the error codes again - this would then prove it was the actual sensor. current error code reads rear right - if I swap them around and the error codes reads rear left then I know it is the sensor is this a wise move

Re: Replacement rear screen.

I fitted one about 2 years ago. I got it from a german company on ebay for about £75 plus postage.

It zipped in fine and the quality was good. Folds up and down fine and after 2 years is still very clear.

I think it might be a little thinner than the original one.

ABS error code - speed sensor required ?

Hi,

The error code says: -

41 Speed signal, rear right (electrical fault)

I checked the connections and also removed the sensor and clean it but the dashboard lights and error codes are still there

3. Reworking the bumper panelling in the region of the wheel arch.

8. A steering limiter is required

Alloy Wheels - do they fit

My Z3 has 16" alloys with tyres - 225 x 50 x 16

I seen some 17'' 5 spoke alloys for sale with tyres:-

Front: - 225 x 45 x 17

Rear: - 245 x 40 x 17

I wonder would these fit my Z3 (I think they might have come from a Z3 M)

They are wider at the back ?
