Re: Airbag reset tool looking for a new home
My turn to apologise Martin! Sorry but I got called away for work again. If you're still interested, you can come have a look at it either on weekdays after 8pm or on weekends whenever suits you really. Even bank holiday if needed. I am prepping for my move so will be around the house. Send me a PM ...

Re: Airbag reset tool looking for a new home
Hi Martin, I am pretty confident that it should work on yours. Mine was a late '99 2.0L so I'm sure it will work. Anybody that knows more than me is welcome to correct me in case :) You are free to come pick it up if you want (we can even try it). Hope you enjoy your car as much as I enjoyed mine! @...

Airbag reset tool looking for a new home
Hi guys, After just over a year of ownership, I've had to sell my Z3 as I am leaving the country. With my car gone, I have the Airbag reset tool that I would like to give to a member of this forum. In over a year this forum has proven to be invaluable and without doubt one of the nicest forums I've ...

Thanks Brian, those images are really helpful. I will definitely check that drain tomorrow, weather permitting.
Luckily I do have a half cover so will be using that for now...

Re: Water in foot-well – the cure.
Took most of my interior out today (still struggling to completely remove the centre console for some reason) and I am pretty sure my problem is with the drain pipes where the roof meets the rear wing. The carpet behind the black plastic trim is damp there. I can't seem to find the actual drain pipe...

Re: Rough Running Woes
Hi, While I can't say whether the ICV is definitely the problem, I had similar issues to you on my 2.0L. I had very rough idle in traffic at times. It slowly got worse and I ended up having the car stall on me. I changed the Vanos seals and I don't have that issue any more thankfully. I repeat, I do...

Thanks Brian, very useful. Upon further inspection, I noticed that I have water under both passenger and driver seats. I'm thinking it might be because of the drains. Re: Water in foot-well – the cure.
Hi guys, quick question about this solution. If it is water coming thr...

Re: Water in boot
So, after a while of being convinced that I had resolved the issue I finally realised that no matter how much crack cure I used, I would always have a leak. I took the rear of the hood off the body work and realised that the person that had fitted the hood had done an extremely shoddy job at it: htt...

That is a definite possibility. I wasn't there for the actual test. Another very suspect value was the lambda which went from 1.02 before to 2.2 after the terraclean. Shortly after I did have to change the vanos seals as the car had a lumpy idle. Not sure whether it was related. Not really, fuel eco...

Good point, I'll amend the original post to include the legal limits as well. Hi all, For anyone interested, I just wanted to provide my feedback on the Terraclean service. On the 21st May (@73750 miles) I carried out a Terraclean (in South London) and was quite surprised with the results: Before Terraclean: CO = 0.41% CO2 = 14.17% HC = 108ppm O2 = 0.65% After Terraclean: CO ...
