I have my stock Z3M one sitting on my shelf if you want. I'm running TMS shorty headers and stock cats and secondary mufflers into a custom xpipe and with magnaflow sport mufflers sounds amazing and no drone nice and raspy when you step on it as well

Re: Z3 & Z3M DETAILED ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS MANUAL
I have managed to acquire a detailed electrical manual for the Z3 / M cars. It covers all 6 cyl models (incl S50 / S54) and includes a thorough index of where every component is to be found on the car. This is both diagramatic and photographic. It also details all the options such as outside temper...

Re: Warning lights came on 100 yards before MOT!
if you have the correct OBDII code reader, it should identify which sensor it is. Not a standard engine OBD, but the more expensive ABS/Airbag one... Maybe someone local to you has one you can borrow to identify the bad sensor.

Re: Some help with battery drain.
Here's a thought that happened to me on my 2000 Z3M. I had the same issue start out of the blue.... Took me a while to find it. It was the sub-amp. Once it was triggered to turn on, it would not shut off draining my battery over night. I started running the amp meter in place of fuses and measuring ...

Re: 3.0l z3 widebody or not
Everything to do with the drivers and yes I feel slighted that our S52's are only 240hp vs the UK version which has 290hp stock. Try to get a UK version here is quite difficult. They are around, but very expensive if you can find one. Regarding balance; it's everything. I laugh when I See C63's smok...

Re: 2.0 misfire
Often, those codes appear due to a dirty MAF. Take the MAF and air filter out and clean both. use gas or a brake cleaner to clean the MAF. Whenever i used to get random mis-fire codes, it was always a dirtly MAF. I would clean and the codes would disappear.

Re: 3.0l z3 widebody or not
Only the M version comes with the complete e36 M drive train (I have a 2000 Z3 M roadster convertible) Posi rear end. S52 engine... Keep in mind Ilive in Canada and highway speed limits are 60mph with avg speed being closer to 80 mph. I love the posi rear end and responsiveness of the 3.2L engine......

The M roadster is the only one to get. ANything else is underpowered IMO. I recently purchased the M version with the 3.2l S52 engine and it goes...

Re: Driver side Tail lights not working
Hi Mate; I ran into the same issue with my right rear brake lights and i found that I no longer had power to the right brake light. I actually had to tap into the left brake light wire that runs between the left and right brake lights right at the power connection and run the wire to the left power ...
