1st generation or larger rear?
Trawling through the Z3s for sale it seems most sellers put large stock in the fact their car is the 2nd gen body with the larger rear arches, updated rear lights etc... Im not 100% sure which I prefer, the later cars are more 'squat' and mean looking but I also think the earlier cars had a purity o...

Anyone got an automatic Z3?
I’m considering buying an auto Z3 and wondered if anyone can tell me what they’re like in comparison to the manual? There’s surprisingly little info in terms of reviews of autos on t’internet!! I read many years back that an auto 1.9 was a bad choice as it lacked power even compared to the manual 1....

Hi guys,
What’s the view on Japanese import Z3s?
I have some concerns about knowledge of a cars exact history and mileage proof etc. I wondered if anyone had any experience of buying an import?
Thanks
Ken

One option might be an engine swap, theres some on ebay from £150, obviously fitting is not going to be cheap but you might be able to put in a new engine with half the milage of your own!
If you do scrap it, let me know what wheels you've got, im after a new set
Good luck buddy

Hi Guys, I have a 1999 1.9 Z3 that needs new discs and pads on all corners. Best price I can find on fleabay being £130.00. Couple of quick questions if I may; Is it worth paying the extra £50 for drilled groove discs, or is this a waste of money on a 1.9? For info, the car does about 1500 miles a y...

Re: Can I use a different part number? (Roof Pump)
When i press the roof button nothing happens, no noise from the pump, just zero of anything!
I have noticed in the pics of mine the fluid is very low, would this be an issue? I would imagine even if the fluid inside was low you'd still get some sort of noise/engagement from the pump/motor?
