can anyone advise our friend here if bilstein b6 shocks would be a better investment or are the kioni the best buy? They are both OK matter of taste I think. The B6 is a bit softer and are AFAIK available to combine better with shorter springs when you want to lower the car. :) I swear on my adjust...

I would set them in the softest position and then try it out. They are indeed firmer then the standard ones. I will check it out when I drive after you again in a couple of days. Good to read that we have the date fixed now. Harry and I now can inform or fellow travellers from across the channel. Hi Erwin, Nice to read about your new project! Like most things you can do this only two ways, the wrong way and the right way. I saw a lot of wrong one's. In Germany a month ago a z1 one who was converted by Kelleners, a German tuner. It did not look nice. The engine was building very high and not ...

Chris, It is all a matter of taste. But 10J is on the edge even with a Zettie with the steel rear axle :D On the inside of the wheel arch there is more space for the steel axle series but in the end the width of the tyre you want to drive and how much the wheel is allowed to rage outside the side pa...

I don't know the Kumho, but the Toyo is very good. I had them on two of my former sets of wheels I had the Falken on my Mondeo but I did not like it at all, to hard and to loud. That are the tyre sizes that look the most like the original 225/45/16 and for an original Diff. For the 3.91 you could also take a more common 215/45/17 and 245/40/17. :D I'm not keen on 45 profile tyres they just look so big, how much will I lose if I use 40 at the front? 2%? It is about 3.5%, no...

Do you have the link to the tyre calculator that also includes your diff ratio?
You have to put in the data for the Z1, like in my pic and then your own Diff and tyresize.
