Fuel gauge reading off
I had the gears on my dashboard repaired last year here in NL, but since then the fuel gauge indicator is of... When the tank is full it show 3/4 and when the ignition is off it seems to lie further to the left than previously. Is there someway to adjust this back easily? I don't want to sent the un...

Something funny with that car, only 3300mls but the leather of seats show more use, the wrinkling is from sitting in it for long times... Also the petrol gauge is European with liters showing, in the UK this should be E - F, while the Odometer and Speedo is in Miles and MPH... I would check the VIN ...

No it is not under the steering column, but inside it.
You need to take the steering wheel off and the two covers. there is one flasher unit, it sit just above the key lock on the right hand side of the steering column.

Re: What tyres for 17” wheel
The wheel I am looking at can be either 7.5 or 8.5
Thinking the 8.5 with 245/35/17 but then the speed will drop a little more,
or the 245/40/17 on 8.5 which will bring the actual speed closer to the gauge speed..

Have you tried the pressure regulator? Mine was faulty as the vacuum line got porous and wasn,t getting the pressure regulator not activating, which caused the fuel prssure to drop in the line. This caused the engine difficult to start but eventually would run.

Seat panel lower tabs broken
Hello folks,...
up to the next failure, on my passenger seat the tabs that fix the panel at the bottom have broken off.
Wondering if repair is possible or even worth it, or should I order a new rear panel (not even sure if it is available!)

There is a switch at the back of the handbrake lever, under the leather cover.
Very simple connection that grounds out when the lever is pulled. I wouldn't call it a sensor...

Re: Z1 Will not start
You may want to check the vacuum hose that runs from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator.
This line was porous and couldn't create sufficient vac to allow the regulator to work which meant that starting was difficult and also caused an increase in fuel usage.

I have found that DAB+ reception is quite sensative, even driving underneath a bridge causes the signal to be lost
