Re: Replacement tyres

Yep
Tried everywhere and could not buy a full set, thought about replacement if had to buy one in the future. So bit the bullet and bought Yokohama's A08 and will have my alloys refurbished at the same time.

Re: Replacement tyres

Many thanks

I have seen Toyo Proxes T1-R (225/45 R16 93W) at reasonable price in the UK, are these the ones you have F Brossaud? I am looking to take along tour through Europe so do not want rubbish tyres.

Fuel pump running when engine switched off

I realised that the fuel pump is running when the engine is switched off.

I have assumed that it is the relay, I have bought a new relay and want to fit it. I am not sure where it is, is it under the instrument binnacle and if so how do you access it?

Re: LED Lights

Many thanks for your feedback. I have now fitted the LED's on all the rear clusters and side indicators and they all seem to work fine without any additional resistors. I purchased the LED's from www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk and are Osram. I did try replacing the H1 headlamps and when connected worked ...

Re: BMW front and rear logo replacement

Many thanks for putting me on the correct section. I did purchase a badge from BMW dealer but they have changed the design so that the lettering and lines are raised. The badges on my Z1 has an enamel flush finish, hence my question. As far as I can see the Z3 seems to be the last model with this de...

Lens

Ben It is only the cover glass that has shattered. I have had the car for 15 years now and it has happened twice. The first time, I think, somebody caught it in the car park. This time I assume it was a stone, last time it cost me over £300 to repair, yet to find out this time. Not covered by insura...

Strut Braces

Stuart I had both front and rear struts fitted to my Z1 in 2003 I must admit I did not feel a great difference but felt that if you can stiffen the body then less stress etc will be experienced in the chassis which must be good for the long term. I bought mine from auco.de but the instructions for f...
