Re: Fuel Pump

Niel, I would say buying the two short L shaped hoses from BMW is best. Most of the other fuel lines can simply be cut to mimic original lengths from appropriately sized J30/R9 tubing. Some of the hoses are not easily accessible and are vents or not pressurised. I would give priority to the pressure...

Welcome Neil, The fuel pump is indeed unique to the Z1 within the BMW range. I imagine you are familiar with Real OEM as a parts search tool. Whether the pump is/was fitted to any other makes is anybodys guess. As a general rule the BMW dealerships I have used give between 5% and 10% off parts. I wo...

Wow!

It's been a while since I saw mine and as the radio is a pain to fit firmly I am reluctant to explore.

Don't rely on this, but from memory, the band held the heater cables away from the radio space.

Any other offers?

Not sure which panel you mean. Is it what is loften termed the front bumper?.That is the panel with the grille and number plate?
If that is the panel have a look at Michael Kabbert's Z1 On Line website. Have a look at Art. 90030.
Hope this may help.

Don't know the cost of this item but imagine this would influence the value of Compact's item.
Not seen the Weismann item for many years. Far rarer than their hardtop which goes for big money!
