I think, not certain, but I saw a black oval/oblong plastic cover in my cache last year....they have been NLA for years those things, I wonder if they were used on any other car?

Looks like a ruptured rubber fuel line. It is probably worth checking hoses and replacing with modern J30R10 spec Nitrile lined hoses given the Ethanol in modern fuels will degrade Butyl based rubber hoses. Mine was built in August 1990 but was not registered until April 1991, in Turin, to Eddie Irvine. Further and more important, did anybody noticed what's wrong with the chassisnumber plate? The rivets? No, the chassisnumber plate is damaged on the left upper side! Usually they don't "just" get damaged ;) Damaged? I thought that was just paint missing. Probably a reasonable explanation,...
