My Topaz blue was listed by the non BMW Main dealer as a "Titanium limited edition" in the adds last year when I got it but took it with a huge pinch of salt. Nothing else in any paper work or log book, refers to anything other than a 2.2i sport. Not fussed either way just love the car.

Southern Tenerife last week. 2 sliver Z3's pre face lift. One indeterminate blue colour, not sure which as a I had my shades on at the time, but it was for sale. All parked up with roofs up in the wonderful weather. :sunny

Stunned £180 odds, you must be 120 years old, driving a 10 speed push bike with 95 years no claims discount and your grandmother on the insurance. Good on you if you've got it. Some nice driving roads up your neck of the woods. I am surprised you can keep your mileage down to 6K a year.

hi V321TY I found mine with the old newspaper trick in the footwell. It was extremely odd in that initially it was only after very very heavy and persistant rain. then it appeared more often. A very slight "run" down the inside RHS passenger footwell. As it was running down the side carpet...

Welcome Goody, enjoy the ride. Boot lid is quite common assuming you refer to corrosion in it's many facets and the 6 year warranty. lots of advice to be had if you either search or ask a specific Q?

I did not need a new mirror but lat year when I got a print out of the cars original spec from my dealer at service he only gave me one of the pages.
I just wanted to check if they should have been heated before I do anything else, that's another issue. Price was for all parts fully sprayed up etc.

Virgin unmodified 2001 2.2 sport. I shopped around properly in plenty of time this year. Result £423 one off payment with Admiral.
A bit better than last years £650 with Tesco plus about £30 credit charge.
I did need to get insurance pronto so stayed with existing company what a sucker.

I had applied a very thin bead of in place of gaffer tape and after a couple of weeks of close scrutiny no leaks !! Car at local indie recently and they said it was dry but had cleared a bit of crap from the drain holes under the splash wall somewhere. buttons to fix.

Similar problem finally fixed by local indie. I was expecting lots of pennies and could easily have been skinned on this one. Solution is I was told there is an adjustment to the bonnet open / close which gives more or less clearance. New one to me but cost bog all for the minor adjustment. happy ch...

The leading edge of the bonnet is so in accessible you would hardly notice. I only picked it up from the shiney wear on the wiper arm

Gazza, have you been looking at my motor again ?
When I got the car it had a very small scuff / scrape on the bonnet edge paint work but was not actually connecting with the wiper arm. I did a quick fix on the paint and all was well unil now.

Don't speak to me about wipers catching the bonnet !! Mine has just started fouling on the bonnet at each stroke. I have tried the old suggestion of just shoving the arm back down, it has worked before but not this time. Booked in to Indie week after next so might as well get that done as well. ouch.
