Similar to the problem I had with mine. Slight gap between rubber and glass. Putting window up just did not make a seal. Turned out to be the travel on the window rather than roof or seal problem. It was stopping
just short of fully up. Minor garage warranty adjustment sorted things.

2.2 superb wondreful drive and 3-4 year younger / lower miles version would be great compared to a 90k S reg model. However if you only use it now and again you may well miss the brute power.

Cheers pal. I see a fair few z3 around and about my neck of the woods
but obviously not tuning in to the forum. They clearly do not know what they are missing. I suppose at a push Wakefield or a day trip out

What does anyone use to condition roof rubbers or is it just a quick
drop of silicone spray ?? Sounds a little dry & squeeky at times from above windscreen.

Also 2002 2.2, same dangly springy thingys both sides. I do not really notice any rattle from this. Must be deaf !! Dangling unattached bits however are a minor pain in the arse.

Stunning, stunning wheels foxy. Not my taste personally, but boy do they look amazing. Such a superb website. Diversity of taste and opinion, more often than not controversial ( whether one agrees with it or not)

yes, per litre. I was tempted to get the 4 litre £40+ odd notes job, but I am hoping not to have to topup so often so went for the cheap option.
I tried 3-4 places with no luck so first stop I saw it I took a litre. I did enjoy driving around with top down to find it though. (sad I know)

Thirsty sod took a full litre of Castrol edge.£13.99 a throw at Halfrauds, ouch. Tried lots o places .but no-one had stocks in.

After 3 months of ownership and around 2,000 miles I lost my first green service light at the weekend. I do not know if I will ever recover from the shock. Like losing your left B#ll#ck. Never mind still got one left.

I have been quietly watching in the back ground for some months but got the Z early Jan. 2.2 Titanium edition.
