Just had the exact same prob, I got the CD's out with the credit card trick but it still failed, £45 at local auto elec and jobs sorted. It's just good to have tunes again.

The 9-10 seconds was the total time from lowering both windows
opening release handles then pressing the lowering button. includes thinking time. Reverse from raising hood to closing both windows.

I quite often part clean just the wheels, using the soapy bit then the rinse water as first stage wet on the car body then take it home for the full treatment. Never the brushes and never blasting too close.

Whiteminx, If you're p' ing yourself just don't do it in the Zed, incontinence in a Z3 would could be much more of an issue in than lack of stature. Apologies Mickcr for side tracking the post. Welcome and enjoy the car. Lot's of advice and good info on here and very friendly with it.

oooohhh whiteminks or should it be white minx :devil: Size is all relative. If you've got to stretch to work the the pedals you need a little help. Every one should be able to find a comfortable position. It just takes a bit of trial and error. I need to have the seat right back to drive comfortably.

Careless idiots, or criminally negligent in not reporting, either way the inocent driver takes the hit. Why not install one of those mini "accident"recording cameras in the car or do they only work when the car is running ? Hope you get it fixed soon without too too much outlay.

Got to agree with Muppet Robert, it would not be my first choice for seat colour but must allow for colour distortion, By no means knocking it. Terracotta sounds much better. I would like to see the real color in the flesh. Your car you enjoy it.

A common problem Bigfut, no big deal imho I have had same since I got
my zed with no issues at all. I believe you can get a fixing kit for it because it was such a common fault. Otherwise it's just a minor niggle.
