Hi, Are you sure the rims are 9j front 10j rear? I can't fit an 8.5j on my 2.8 on the front, tried it and to fit 10j on the rear is a big op if the offset is high,I know,I've done it. If you could confirm I would be super grateful. Thanks in advance. What size is your rear tyre? Also, very nice 2.8 in...

Would you crawl under a car at a main dealer or insist to see the underside on a ramp? Please take my advice,do so! When I test drove it,it was wet and only 3mm on the tyres.I cou...

Imagine a bush with on off sett bolt through it. E.g. Nearside inner bush bolt set to highest point furthest from ground in the middle of a circle/the bush Steve/center rod and the outer bush set to the lowest point gives you max negative camber possible with zero toe adjustment. I have the eccentric bushes from Powerflex.
When/if you order them make sure you state you want the adjustment spanner as mine came without one.
Go purple for a more standard/fast road feel or black for very stiff track use.
You can do the same thing with weld in plates but I am not a fan of them.

Hi, If you had the car 4 wheel laser alignment completed, why did they leave the steering wheel off center? I wouldn't be at all happy with that. Re: Z3 2.8 Rear end conversion, reducing 2.8 width to 1.9 sp
Which side?
I may have a 2.8 trailing arm if you want one.
The way to tell is to look at the carrier/hub section and look at the lower damper mount.
If it is 1.9 it will look considerably shorter than the other side,if that one is in fact 2.8.

If no one has, I guess I will and develop a kit with Chromoly output shafts.
Anyone interested?

Z3 2.8 Rear end conversion, reducing 2.8 width to 1.9 spec
Hi, I just wondered if anyone can help on this please. I am basically attempting to put z3 1.9 trailing arms on a 2.8 in order to get wider rims on the back. These have been braced in two places. Obviously I will have to use shorter drive shafts, either 1.9 CV drive shafts or Z3M ones. The diff outpu...

You can reuse your pre facelift internal side lights on the later lights if you want by removing the mounded plastic inserts in the back of the units. Then your original bulb holders will twist fit in the holes.

Hi, Do you have a good quality paint supplier near you? Re: What oil to refill trailing arms?
Hi Brian,
Yes I guess so, I have loads of it. I just thought I'd ask to see if anyone knew what BMW used and put back what was original. To be honest I was a bit surprised to see it coming out of the arm when I pulled the plug out and the reason for it being there.
Thanks Brian.

Hi all, Perhaps I should be a bit clearer. On the rear trailing arms there is a plug. When removed you can pour out an amount of what looks and smells like differential oil. I did I this whenI had the diff carrier and trailing arms powder coated as the process requires 200 degrees to melt the paint. ...

What oil to refill trailing arms?
Hi,
Would anyone happen to know what grade of oil BMW originally used inside the trailing arms and what amounts they used?
I can't find it in Bentleys or online.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
