Re: What did you buy your Z3 this week ?
How are your cutting skills? See the threads from Deano and Yalden for more info but from what I know they arent a perfect fit when they are delivered. Good skills with the right tools. And hardtop is used, so it's already been fitted - there is a chance that it will not require cutting. Can you po...

There is no light on dash about lambda sensor. Read the ECU errors.
If that's really the lambda issue, stick with original, that's one of a few parts you don't want to mess with (the other is MAF sensor). 130 GBP even for original seems steep (unless that's the price for a pair).

If removing weight, you should start with lighter wheels - that's rotating mass which will be 2x as efficient as removing weight everywhere else.

Probably you got the brace from e36, fitment is the same, but e36 has more space under the bonnet AFAIK. So some of braces from e36 fit fine on z3 and some - not.

If you went to the trouble of drawing up a template, it would have been better to put all the dimensions and the radii on it. That way we could make our own rather than find a laser cutting company. Just print it out on paper, attach paper to perspex plate and cut your own. IMHO laser cutting will ...
