You can get strips of LEDs from a company in the US (Radiantz). It hink they would work just as well and are much easier to work with.

How did you close the hole on the wings?

I had a dealer fit the BMW top range alarm, cost me twice as much as originally indicated as nearly all the boards had to be custom fabricated to cope with the Z1 doors and windows.

But it works...

I use the accumate as well, connect and forget.

I have the lead permanently attached to the battery, and the lead runs through a little gap under the hood when the Z1 is in the garage

Don't over iflate you tyres, but inflate them to the max value as indicated on the side wall (usually 40psi). Don't put on axle stands, unless you take the wheels of and rest the axle stand on the "stub" (if that is at all possible on a z1). If you put the "body" on the axle stan...

Well, otherwise the numbers are incorrect.

SORN does take your registration number away, that only happens if you export or crush the car.

Mine is SORN, reg number still in existence.

if it is at full lock it is the by pass that releases power steering fluid back in to the reservoir.

just turn the wheel slightly back to prevent this from happening, its not bad that is occurs, just better to prevent overloading of the power system

Personnaly I think 17" is about the right size, the look changes too much with the bigger rims.

He also must have done something with the bolts, I thought the z1 only had four bolts on the rim??

I fitted an aftermarket wooden steering wheel (with matching gear stick) years ago, fitted with a x-over beautifully!

I can't recall the make, manti (italian I beleive!)

Just need some more wood veneer trimming....!
