this could be a fauly cam positon sensor. As its imtermittient i would suggest a diagnostic. I knwo when the sensor went on my 328 it caused a starting issue.

That set up will be fine, no wider than 225/235 on the front or it ight rub on full lock.

I eventually settled for a mid ranged set of AP coilovers. These can be found on venom motorsport site. I have had no problems with them and very impress...

I hvae 18"s with coil overs and lowered much more than 60mm....no problems with rubbing at all. Make sure the offset is right if you are going for a staggered set up make sure the front arent to wide.

Was that with or witout a remap?
Without map, I should have an updated dyno soon of max bhp after map. Although the car has been mapped for torque not max bhp.

Glad you wrote that Mark I get bored of reading the same drivel also....I have 18's with coil overs. Personally I preferred the look of full arches. The handling is brilliant as i have uprated the suspension all round.

I have the BBTB and manifold conversion on my trackcar (E36 328) and got a dyno proven 25bhp from it.

I think that sounds a little expensive, if you trust them then sometimes its worth a little more. I definetely paid less than that recenlty to have two bearings replaced. Although with the bearing form memory I think the part is quite expensive.

I have the e-tech so would say a decent looking brace for £100 -150 is about right. Some people will always buy cheaper ones but sometimes you do get what you pay for.

I would suggest you wait until you have more money, the hottunning,jamex and Jom stuff is all rubbish. There are loads of reviews on them proving that.

Save a bit more and do it right first time imo

I think it just sounds like the sensors are dirty. Mine did this for a while before one of the sensors packed up altogehter.

Pretty sure there is how to on cleaning sensors in the knowledgebase.

jsut because you have cleaned rears does not mean they need replacing. I cleaned mine and fault still showed up. Got the codes read replaced theone that showed faulty and had no problems.....that was two years ago.

When i fitted my coil overs i replaced the top mounts with Rouge Engineering parts. Apart from refreshing worn parts i was sold with the fact that the new items would last a lot longer and are mcuh stronger and robust than oem parts.
