Indicator return problem..........
When indicating to leave a roundabout, the stalk does not always return to the off position. I've had cars before where a certain amount of lock is needed and perhaps this is a trait of Zeds but it's a potentially dangerous problem for me :( Today, with hood down on a 60mph road I passed the entranc...

A sign of old age?
Downhill, wind behind me, hot tyres and an empty 3 lane highway ahead. Hit the kick down in my 3.0L automatic, pulled a neck muscle and hung on for dear life reaching the heady speed of 83mph  Am I alone in thinking the Zed is not best suited to excessive speeds or is it customary for a sports...

Doh! Panic over  Just like my old school reports, 'more effort required'. There's a significant unworn rubber seal that the lid sits on and the top needed pushing down much harder than I expected. The fact it's taken me 3 weeks to sort says a lot about why I didn't take up mechanical engineeri...

Storage box won't lock?
I can't get the top storage box between the seat backs to lock?
The key fits and works in the glovebox and the lock rotates exactly the same but does not open the back box.
Any ideas?

Chips away
Visited Wickes at the weekend and outside was a gazebo adorned with the Chips Away logo's and an offer for paint repairs while you wait. I've since been on their website and it shows a rather intensive rub down, prime and paint for bumper scratches but nothing about repair methods for very minor nic...

BMW CD Multiplayer connections?
I have a CD multiplayer in the boot of my Zed3 but currently minus the 6 disc cartridge. I've borrowed one and there is definitely power to the unit but before I go in search of a cartridge myself need to get it working. I have a SONY head unit with the facility to tie up with a multiplayer but it's...

What use is an extra inch?
How come you've only got 17" and a lot of these chaps have 18" my wife asked me the other night?
I really don't know I answered!
So whats the reason thinking behind 17" or 18" wheels?
I can't see a difference? Fortunately, neither can my missus.

Only just got my Zed and I too was a bit alarmed at the handling round country roads. Much better when the tyres were warmed up so they were the first thing to look at and after checking the fronts they were running well under (10psi low on one side and 7psi the other). Pumped them up and all but so...

I need to cover my new accquisition, Z3.....as my proposed garage home is not yet clear... and have been searching the net. It seems that basic ones can be picked up from Halfords for £20 and fitted ones with a soft lining for around £150. Are there any issues with these that I should be aware of an...
