the "T" thingy enables the hydraulics to work, if turned anticlockwise the roof can be operated by hand. thanks for the comments about my P+J.

FIRST PROBLEM.

have you tried tightening the " T " shaped thumb screw on the hydraulic unit, this was only slightly loose on mine and gave the same symptoms.

i think we would all insure with them, just grit your teeth as you write out the cheque, if you do go about it "dodgy" you wont sleep at night.

the only way you might get away with it is to insure both cars at exactly the same time with two different companies using the same NCB proof as suggested by Siwilson
