You must be able to reach the latch from the hood. It won't be easy (you must have more or less 10/15 cm space avalable between the floor and the folded roof but I think you can reach them.

If I remember, just few days, may be two weeks maximum depending if they are very busy or not.

This bodyshop is well known by BMW owners around Lyon, they have already resprayed several Z1 from french club members, so they know the job pretty well.

Hi,

I guess you will have some very different quotations from various workshops.

There is a company in France close to Lyon that can make a Z1 respray for around 1000 EUR including removing and refitting of all body panels.

Hi,

I was in contact with someone living in Brazil who wanted to have a Z1. As far as I know, import duties on used cars are UDGE, so it seems the only way to import one would be to find an unregistered one that would be considered as a "new" car.

Unfortunately, it seems that cloth interior (in fact all color but camouflage) wear away quite quickly :(

Hi everybody,

I plan to organise a Z1 meeting in the Loire Valley, in the Saumur area (between Tours and Angers) the saturday, the 10th of may 2008.

Good food and vine, castle visit, we should spend good time there :)
