Jam boy what has actually broke on the mirror? The bolt that runs through the middle with a spring for twisting the mirror is know to corrode.
If this has happened I have a fix for it that is cheaper than a a new mirror.

Fantastic car. The nearest I have come to one is sitting in the demo car at the dealership in Knutsford and that was enough for me to want one.
Unfortunately there was a 9 month waiting list so I didn't bother, oh and of course the £169,000 cost had some bearing on my decision.

BMW sell a set of fitting guides that you can use to line up the hardtop and they're not that expensive, about £5 max.
You will also find lots of fitting info on the interweb and there is probably a "how to" on here somewhere.

I do the same and try to park away from the main lots of cars but last wek I parked at Tesco in Macclesfield with at least 5 empty spaces either side. On returning to the car someone has parked a Range Rover next to me despite all the other spaces still being empty!

I think the wiring loom should be fitted to your car but probably hidden behind some trim. Make sure you get the right switch as there are two versions
