I've got continentals all round on the standard 16" wheel...they make the car twitchier than the president of the nervous tic society on his wedding day....
Will wheels from a Z3M fit a pre-facelift 2.8?? If so any one got any with tyres...not continentals!!!!

Mike...just out of interest...what coolant do you recommend??? VW's G12+ (think that's their own brand name) is supposedly extremely long-life...I believe they claim it never needs changing (though whether I believe their claims is another thing entirely)...is this suitable for the BMW engine??? Als...

What was up with it Ben?? Stolen/recovered ,engine dying or they just didn't have a scooby?? My guess is there's gotta be something amiss...it's a good 2k cheaper than the next Z3M...they'll be looking to make a profit so wil have picked it up in the mid-5's....you just don't get an M for that money...

Rear bumper clips???
Some b/stard shunted the back of my car in a car park and then drove off..there is a scrape on the rear bumper which'll be easy enough to sort...but it looks like a clip has broken and the bumper has dropped at the f/s wheel arch...Is it just a replacement clip I am needing to get this back in place...

How do you adjust the front bumper on a 2.8 backwards and forwards...had a small shunt and bumper is slightly out of alignment where it meets the bonnet at each corner...nothing else appears bent/broken so hopefully just needs adjusting on brackets???

There are various companys where you acn store your car in dehumidified garages for ultimate safety about £80-100pcm....otherwise make sure car is dry when you put it into storage ,handbrake off, cotton cover sheet ,tyres over-inflated or even better wheels off and axle stands to prevent flat spots ....

Thermostat stuck shut would lead to the car overheating on it's own as there won't be any coolant going thru the rad....is it definite that the head gasket has gone...have they pressure tested it? or are they speculating...I would go for the t/stat 1st and then if that doesn't solve things go for th...

Olde Worlde luxury...and arguably the best view in the world (literally across the road from the Pyramids).
Suprisingly affordable if you book early enough and drinks/food etc. are as cheap as when you get there.
The taxi drive through Cairo is definitely one for the adrenaline junkies....
