If you were into the E30's previously, the scuttle shake on the E30 cab (i had one before this) is much more noticable than it is on the Z3 , I also had an MX5 previously...I know, hairdryers at 40 paces....I found that although the horses on that were a lot less powerful ,scuttle shake was less tha...

I've got 'granville's silicone lubricant' in a spray can from hafrauds....spray it onto a cloth and wipe onto the seals

As well as pulling the seals towards the windows ,give 'em a spray or wipe over with silicone lubricant...apparently causes the rubber to expand a bit...worked for me

If you want to see how pimpin up beemers can affect residuals ,have a look at a few E30's...the ONLY ones which will fetch decent money now are those in which the advert is preceded by 'unmolested'....if you go to far you'll never see your money back and probably decrease the value of the car beyond...

Agree totally with Mike....Had an E30 before my Zed, one of the most common problems of battery death on these was the glove-box or boot light kippering the battery. Modern batteries if they are older can appear fine one day and the next be completely dead and/or not hold a decent charge....might be...
