Hi, could you give me an idea what money you`re thinking of and whether you know if they fit a prefacelift 2.8. I`m replacing shocks and springs in a month or two and these wishbones would ensure the front end was sorted for a long time. Thanks, Alec

Just out of interest I went on to "webuyanycar.com" and filled the form in. 1999 2.8 with 90000 miles on the clock and full service history. £2055 was the offer! They are going to be making some good money if they are buying in at those prices.

I`ve just noticed that when my wipers are on normal speed they switch to intermittent when I stop, still with the engine running. When I set off again they resume normal operation. Is this normal or have I got some weird electrical problem? This doesn`t happen when they are on fast speed. Car is 199...

Don`t know if I`m too late. Mine jammed when right back. I managed to free it by moving the "seat back" as far forward as it can go using the lever at the side of the seat. This takes pressure off the bottom frame and allowed the motor to move it again. Careful now that I don`t move it too...

Just done mine. Black silicone from halfrauds. Use a thin blade and smear some on both surfaces, leave to go tacky and press together. rub over join every few minutes until it stays stuck together. Unfasten roof to take pressure off while you do it. Simples. Good luck

I had same symptoms with temperature guage. Thermostat replaced and now engine gets up to temperature in 3 or 4 minutes. Heater is now like a blast furnace. Like peterandjenny I`m now getting a few more miles to the gallon as well.

I`ve a very good pair of F1s on the back but when they need changing I`ll be putting 912s on the back as well. Wonder if anyone would be interested in buying some F1s with loads of tread on?

Falken 451s. They looked quite old and were starting to crack a bit. There are a few posts on here from people fitting 912s with good results so I thought I`d get away from directional tyres and give them a go.

Just back from tyre fitters. New Falken 912s fitted on the front and she drives like a dream now, no tramlineing at all. Did the usual over the last 6 months, bushes renewed, tracking checked and new callipers fitted as they were sticking. No improvement at all from all that but it all needed doing ...

It`s great to hear another positive opinion on 912s. I`m having a pair fitted on the front tomorrow and hoping for a great improvement in the tramlining department. Camber correction bolts going on as well as I`ve got 3 degrees on both sides.

Thanks for all your comments, I`m glad there`s no negative thoughts about the amount of silicone that went in. All grinding noises gone now, I think it`s got to all the moving parts.

Hi, it`s nearly time to put two new tyres on the front. Last time I had the tracking done the camber was -3 degrees both sides. I`m thinking of having some camber correction bolts fitted but wondered if they will give enough adjustment to cure this?
