The cure for that is to use the car. Driving it on a regular basis will also prevent possible brake caliper seizure, parking brake seizure and keep the battery charged. I did a similar photo shoot with Practical Classics magazine earlier this year to mark 50 years of the Triumph GT6, great day out, thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Plus as you said your car gets to be in a magazine. :thumb:

Yes I know that lower profiles make for harsher ride, but I thought that if the profiles dropped from 40 and 45 on 18" to 35 and 40 then the rim size would have to increase to 19". Its all to do with keeping the rolling tyre circumference matched to your speedo so that it reads correctly....

I got a set of these Bosch wiper blades for my Z3MC about 2years ago. Purchased the two front & one rear blades for approx £20 from ebay. Been a great improvement over the worn OEM items that were fitted when I purchased the car. I would definitely recommend them.

Fitted with 6 speed manual?? Be great if it has, but would have thought they would have mentioned more about the conversion. Suspect it's a tippo or someone just hasn't realised they have a 5 speed manual gearbox.

I have Falken 453 in 235 and 255 sizes fitted to my coupe, I find them OK. Might be a little heavier when doing slow speed manoeuvring but on the open road no bother. Had the same sizes on the first Z3M Coupe I had and didn't have any issues with that car either.

I used Brentacre who are one of BMWCC recommended insurers and I would imagine you get a better deal if a BMWCC member. I went with them last year after using Saga (£248 which was going up to £265 on renewal) for a few years and it cost me £220 fully comp, with protected NC & 5k annual mileage. ...
