The discs are not black just grooved in a Ship's propellor pattern if that makes sense. They have not rusted as yet. Thanks for tips on cooling system. Indy replaced Standard discs with Brembo max grooved discs front and rear. Also new pads of course.
As discs were worn performance much better. Just have a slight squeak from rear offside from time to time. Will sort out when weather improves.

Both brake-light bulbs had blown at once! Replaced bulbs and all OK.Can only conclude some kind of power surge but damned if I know why.
Any ideas?

Brake lights have failed but boot mounted brake light still works. I'm going to check the bulbs but strange if both have blown at once. Could it be the switch or a fuse? Is switch an easy fix?

Exactly same thing happened to me on Sunday too. Went to local specialist (Herring and Palmer, Norwich) yesterday. Wiring loom being replaced with upgrade next week.
£100 including diagnosis at £30. How much cheaper than dealer? Anybody know?

Thanks Bigfut. Have extended warranty that covers sunroofs and motors. Can't think of a bigger sunroof than a drop top can you? Will the guys at Inchcape agree? We shall see.
