Not sure about the last bit of your question; the Z3M wheels would normally stick out at the back on a non-M Z3 so do you mean they rub on the outer arch lip? They did stick out slightly but didn't rub until the shocks were changed, then they rubbed the wheelarch lip, consequently i sold the wheels...

Are the rear shocks on a Z3 and Z3M technically different? I know they have different part numbers. The reason for asking is that recently my rears shocks and topmounts were changed due to driving into a large pothole, now the ride feels different. I have read on other postings about Zeds being fitt...

Hiya Dalboy, I had mine keyed a couple of weeks back,across the drivers door and above the side gill and onto the bonnet, quite deep, paintshop charged me £200 very pleased with the result considering the car is cosmos black. What part of East London are you? I can recommend two places that i've use...

Erha,
there are two types of type IV, the ones on the left in ChrisXL's pic are type IV, the ones on the white car are Type IV Racing. can't offer a better pic at the moment sorry.

I fully understand the blanket/towel principle but how do you hold the home made item in place whilst sitting in the car with your foot on the brake and pressing the roof switch? or do you open the roof manually?

I have to say (and I differ from some fellow members of the Registration Numbers Club here) that I am totally against car registration letters/numbers being mis-spaced or manipulated to look like something else. They give us all a bad name, and apart from that they look naff! 100GRA Just your opini...

I think you should test drive both models, I have a 2.8 and can only describe the drive as fantastic, I have not driven a 2.2 but reading other posts on this forum from 2.2 owners they are equally exciting.

When the reserve light comes on in my 2.8, the computer reads 26 miles(41 km) remaining, this is at tickover speed, it does drop quite rapid whilst driving, i believe prevention is better than cure and to stop dirt pickup i fill up as soon as possible after the light comes on.
