Hi I have for sale my immaculate Arctic Silver Hard Top from my fantastic 98 BMW Z3M Roadster.

My lovely Z3M Roadster went to a great home but the new owner didn't require the hard top and accessories.

The Hard Top comes with original documentation, case, key and portable stand.

For pictures please see pistonheads advert 1822815. I am advertising the top at the reduced price of 450 pounds and feel this is an amazing price looking around at the few others for sale.

Does it have the fitting kit (ie did you remove it form the car?)

Are you sure its a Tianium Hardtop ?

your car was a 98 model which means it was artic silver

I assume the top was a different shade of silver when fitted to your car then (the two are quite different side by side) ?

I could kick myself now but I left the fixing kit in the car (didn't realise there were other parts to remove).

As far as the colour is concerned I am not sure where I got the idea it was Titan silver, the top seemed to match with the car. The car was definitely registered in 98 but the hard top has a part number sticker on it with a 99 date on!!

99 could be either ie <04/99 Arctic & and >04/99 Titanium.

If it matched your 98 car perfectly then its Arctic Silver not Titanium (you would have noticed the difference in colour)

This is crazy but I am reducing the price again. I need money to spend on my new car and I need space in the garage.

This top is immaculate. It comes with a portable stand, cover, key and original documentation.

NOW BEING SOLD FOR 400.

I have seen second hand hard tops for double this price. What a bargain even if you don't use it too often its a great accessory to have with the car.

Please help me out here. Whilst I agree that £400 is a steal is there not a similar amount to pay for the fitting kit etc etc.

You can get non BMW kits off Fleabay from about £150. The OEM kits is around £260.

You will also need the heated rear window switch and wiring.

the last time I checked with Halliwell Jones the OEM kit was £320 and they said there was not many available

Maybe you could contact the person who bought your car and explain you forgot to remove the vital fitting kit... and could you go round with a spanner?

Not many are sold with the fitting kit as usually people sell there carsw first then thr hardtop as in this case.

My first Z had the fitting kit and I did not even realise it so its always worth checking if your car has it already

Hi all third time of trying to get a pic on here im confused as to what colour my car actually is ? is it Titan silver or Arktic silver as it seems to say both on the label ???

Hi Tim,

Your Zed is definitely Titanium Silver, same as mine paint code 354. Arctic silver is paint code 309. Is there a paint code on the hardtop? but as Jon pointed out you would have noticed the colour difference if the top is arctic silver

I aint got the hardtop yet its gonna be resprayed to the specific colour so i need to know for sure what colour he has to spray it

God i hope its right ! so im going with Titanium Silver ??? any further offers heheheeh

os os there a more sure way of knowing the colour ?
Mines a 2000 registered model but the other srticker seems to say BMW Built Dec 99 *
??????? cant aford to get this wrong ...

Would stick me neck out and say Titan silver as yours is after 04/99

Although I would have it sprayed up gloss black, then you can show me what it looks like on your Zed

Yep, 12/99 production will be titanium silver as they stopped manufacturing Artci silver from 04/99.

Yours is an early titanium silver (its still a current colour) and so that probably explains why the paint label changed for later zeds
