FULL ROLL BAR KIT

Post by johnjo »

Hi All
I have just started breaking a wide body 2.8 Z3
I have the complete Roll Bar kit including Roll bars, al the plastic trim and brackets etc. Before I list on Ebay thought I would see if there was any interest on here. Looking for £275 collected from Andover Hampshire.
I am also thinking of selling the complete rear end, great to do a wide body conversion this will include both wide rear wings bumper and side skirts looking for £175 for all the parts.
Should have some pictures early next week but feel free to contact me if you are interested or if you need any other bits please let me know
Thanks

I know from doing my roll bars, that BMW are no longer producing / supplying the tower covers for roll bar application..so these are going to become more scarce as time goes by. Worth storing even for future!

There are a fair number of zeds being broken at the moment and the full roll hoop kit is available from these breakers. As I've found, generally, people won't sell the items within the kit separately. The price this Is advertised at is the ball park figure in the UK.Neither low nor high.Collection always restricts the market. There are at least four kits that have been advertised on this forum,of late, and to the best of my knowledge, all went onto eBay.I require the cubby box, though a breaker has agreed to sell me one,I won't hold my breath.I also require the turrets.I'm in no hurry as more zeds are scrapped, roll hoops will always be available but less people will want to invest in an older, low value car.

The trouble with shipping is the size of the large plastic parts. They are fragile and it would be a huge box. I will have a look at what I have. :P

Bubble pack and tape...then wrap in dardboard, and tape up...I have had the same items shipped airfreight to me from the UK packed like that. As long as the items are bubblewrapped tightly they'll be fine.
