FS....STRONGSTRUT - BUTT STRUTT

Post by Southernboy »

....Anyone...£ 50.00 excl shipping??? To all intents this is brand new...I can't have it on my car with the lowered suspension...it'll kill small ants etc

Comes complete with all the fastners / washers etc etc... I would recommend shipping by sea - 4- 6 weeks - but a heap cheaper than airfreight. 8-)

I don't think it's any more or less than to England....I had intended getting to the Post Office today to get a Quote...but work, very stormy rainy weather and other matters have interfered. I'll do it tomorrow and reply.

If it's £30 or so then that'd be fine. I'm happy to wait for sea freight :)

It costs £15.00 to airfreight 450gms...this thing weighs in at over 3kg...I think £.30 is wishful...but I'll see tomorrow...Any idea what these cost new from Strong Strut??
The last one sold on this forum went for £170.00 - DELIVERED....
My unit is "as new"...so do the math...£50.00 is really cheap...on the other hand...it's not being used...so..it's relative...

Cold rolled steel babyshoes....2 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick...shaped, drilled, with special made to measure bolts, washers and spacers...flatbar just wouldn't do anything to hold a car through an S bend...looks are always deceiving...it's what's under the powder coating that counts...ask any guy who sees his girlfreind "sans powder coating" for the first time....

Pretty sure these are aluminium as it's fairly light for it's size/thickness.

...alll you'll need then is the "body-brace" which integrates with the butt strut and runs the length of the car and locks to the front left and right....you should have a look on the strong strut website..
