Wanted Exhaust 1.9L

Post by Pierrick »

Hi all, if anyone has a second hand exhaust for sale I might be interested, depending on the price.

Ar if you know where to find a good quality one...

I'm looking for the back box and silencer part, the front is fine.

EOM or aftermarket.

Thanks.

Can't help with a secondhand one but if you are looking to keep the car then it is worth investing in stainless . Cobra or Longlife are good quality but expect to pay £325 to 400 for a cat back. Google `Longlife Exhausts' for your local dealer

good old ebay, less than £250 and running fine (apart from needing a new rubber mount as mine has perished) :)

There are lot on e-bay at around 140£.

And I'd like to buy a stainless one but it seems to be too expensive for my wallet! Knowing that I just spend quite a few pounds on schocks and springs.

Anyone ever bought an exhaust from euro car parts? Or car parts for less?

Sorry I wrote this a bit too quickly, I bought from eura car parts, but this is the same company anyway!

So, the quality seems ok but the exhaust touches under the car! I'll have to make a spacial bracket to hold it back from the underside.

So, a bit annoying...

I have the same issue its because the standard exhaust has a section that is 'squished' and almost flat so it doesn't catch on the chassis also the rubber hanger hole is too big for aftermarket exhausts at the same point.

Would you be able to give us their Item Description and Part Number - so that we can avoid buying the same item.
Thanks.

Hi, here is the part number from euro car parts:705111531

I'm not sure I would say this is a bad buy as the quality seems good and with a few bits of metal you should be able to make a mount to avoid the exhaust touching the car.

And the price is ok too!
