2.2 sport edition for sale - 45.6k, hard top & a/c

Post by fish »

Sept 2002, 52 plate titanium silver 2.2, complete with hard top.

MOTed by BMW, sept-14, with coolant & brake fluiid. Local indie just did Castrol Edge oil change, so 2 years for brake fluid and oil, 4 years for coolant. All five bars showing on service indicator, with inspection 2 due next.

It's just had around £1850 of new parts fitted (inc tyres)...if it says oem, it means "exact" oem part # from original manufacturer. I did all the parts at once as it was must cost effective to renew everything together and then track it all up.

Brand new continental sport contact 5 tyres (03/15 tyre dates)
Front Meyle hd wishbones (4 year warranty)
Front Meyle bushes (2 year warranty)
New lemforder anti roll bar links (oem)
New bmw anti roll bar rubbers
New rear lemforder anti roll bar links
New lemforder steering arms and track rod ends
Ate power discs all round (oem)
Refurbed the calipers in g2 silver aircraft grade paint, I.e. It's a plastic coating that does not flake off.
Ate calipers kit all round (oem)
Hel silver braided brake lines
New Texstar brake disc brakes and pads (oem)
Cruise control
New bmw aerial grommet
Tonneau cover
Good back window
Seats in great condition
Hood clean and impregnated with bmw spray
Indoor cover from Hamilton classics
Radiator plug replaced and drained
New bmw rubbers on intercooler pipes
Hard top kit fitted with heated rear window, oem stand and oem cover, inc tools
All new bmw nuts used and sills refitted etc
Roadster luggage (3 bags) http://www.roadsterbag.co.uk/BMW-Roadst ... ggage.html

I have kept the old oem wishbones and steering arms as intended to refurb them.

All the underneath has been hand cleaned, not a sniff of corrosion or damage and exhaust box is polished up to. If the car needed it, it had it. I had unlimited budget and was doing it to keep....I also used a combination of zinc spray, red oxide and hammerite on all parts. I also painted the new wishbones.

Has been ran on shell nitropower petrol and garaged all year round.

An independent checked the car over and the brakes were re-bled and they set up the handbrake after the parts were refitted etc. Tracking was done and it flew the mot, just had a safety check at BMW for 1 hours labour.

Drop me a line if interested.

There's a photo on the Photobucket link.

Appears to be a very well cared for example, still in tip-top condition - I wonder if a regular Waxoyling is responsible? :)

I think....it's called the intercooler pipe, but it's the one to the gearbox, not the engine....would have to double check on oem etc...
