Anybody know where I can source a pair of lower control arms for my M Roadster 1998, or are the standard Z3 control arms the same? Thanks

Www.reaioem.com lists the lower arm as different for the Z3M to all other Z’s

Euro carparts list them, two brands, £84.99 and £128.99 each

Re: Lower control arm Z3 M
Bought these from Euro car parts with an additional 35% discount, £110 the pair, getting them fitted Tuesday as I can't seem to get to the middle ball joint nut from ground level and don't have a ramp.

I’ve heard that joint is a pain.
Great result on the price

Re: Lower control arm Z3 M
On my 1.9, I accessed them from above using a couple of connected half-inch socket extensions and a flexi-joint - this gave just enough wriggle room. On your M I am guessing the engine bay is a little more cramped? From below I then simply drove a splitter fork between the ball joint and chassis crossmember. Once the drop-links are disconnected with the car level, the control arms can be tackled individually by jacking up each side in turn.

Thanks Del, I think the set up is slightly different on the M where it needs to be raised, not only that I got a spanking price on fitting the pair, hardly worth dirtying my hands
