Announcement: Printed zroadster.net calendars - ORDER NOW!
I have been working with another forum member (Giles) to get the zroadster.net calendar properly printed and bound.
We are now taking orders for calendars. Even if you have already confirmed your interest below, you still need to place a proper order as well.
I have seen a proof and I am gobsmacked - the quality is far superior to anything I can produce at home and it is properly wire bound - something that is impossible to do without the right equipment.
HOW TO ORDER
Please PM Giles with your order, stating clearly your forum name, your real name and the full postal address to which you wish the calendar(s) to be sent, as well as the quantity of calendars you wish to purchase. Payment will be by cheque in pounds sterling, drawn on a UK bank. Giles will PM you back with his address and details of the amount and whom to make the cheque payable to. Orders will not be dispatched until a cheque has been received.
For those of you outside the UK, we should still be able to handle your
order, again please PM Giles with your order as above, and he will respond with some possibilities on how you can pay. If you are outside Europe, he will also try to give you an idea of the postage costs for the number of calendars you wish to purchase.
PRICING
The cost of the calendar has now been set to literally just cover the printing costs and includes a small donation to Tim towards the upkeep of the zroadster.net site. Prices are as follows:
£7 each per calendar
Plus postage and packing at:
£2 UK
£4 Europe
£7 Rest of World (weight dependant - may be more for multiple calendars)
Cheers R.

Initial interest was as below. Thanks to the overwhelming response, we have been able to produce a calendar for what we think is a realistic price, and do our little bit towards the upkeep of ZR.net. Please note that this list is no longer being updated.

Hi Robert
Put me down for 1. You could save on postage and I could collect it from you since I'm in Alty as well you know.
Cheers MikeR

Before we can commit to anything, we need to have some ideas of numbers, so if you are interested then please add your name to this post (I'll maintain a list of confirmed and possibles here as we do for cruises).

Cost has yet to be worked out (it depends very much on numbers), but we are looking at something like £6 to £8 (plus P&P). Any profit made would be donated to Tim to help with the running costs of zroadster.net.
We should be able to post to outside the UK without any problem. Please bear in mind that the postage (P&P) may be £2 to £4 on top of the above. I'll post the rates here as soon as I have them.
If you think this is a good idea, then please sign up below.

My order's in too.
I'd like to remind people that this site is NOT free to maintain, and all the expense is currently absorbed by the webmaster Tim, topped up with donations sent last time the site was hacked and he appealed for financial help to reinstate it. This is why some long term members are noted as 'Zroadster Sponsors'.
I haven't seen the accounts and I've no inclination or reason to ask, nor do I know if there was any expense involved in reinstating the site this week, but I'm gonna be cheeky and suggest that a voluntary donation over and above the £7 for the calendar might be appropriate to contribute towards the costs of our most favourite forum.
We all get this place for absolutely nothing, and I'm very happy to put a little bit back.
Just imagine what it would cost to BUY this much knowledge and fun time!
I'll start by offering to buy my calendars at £10 each.
Cheers!

Only problem is that I sent my cheque off this morning
I would be pleased to offer my support to the site if you can supply the info necessary

Alfie, the £7 price tag does include a small donation already. I can't be exact, but by Giles' reckoning we should be able to give a couple of pounds per calendar to Tim. This won't raise a massive amount, I know, but we wanted to set the price so that it was affordable to everyone.
I'm sure any additional contributions will be gratefully received, so thank you very much for the suggestion.
Thanks R.

Yeah, I realised that, but I thought it was a good excuse to put a little bit more back, and an easy way of doing it by buying a calendar. No obligation, of course!Robert T wrote:the £7 price tag does include a small donation already.
Forgot to say a HUGE WELL DONE to Rob and Giles.
Thanks for your time and efforts guys.
