Announcement: ZRoadster.net Calendar 2008 - order now!
First of all, a big thank you to all those who submitted photos. Choosing which to include was incredibly difficult, but the selection has finally been made. If you're photo hasn't been included this year, then please don't despair - just go out and take some even better ones for inclusion next years calendar!
I will shortly be sending out PMs requesting the original photographs that I wish to include. As we'd like to try and get the calendar despatched to you before Christmas, it would help me greatly if you could reply as quickly as possible - if I don't receive your photo in time, I may have to use someone elses. I will also need to know a little bit about the shot, where it was taken, by whom and what cars we are looking at.
PRICING
We have now set a price for this year at £7.50 per calendar with postage & packing at £2 UK, £4 Europe and £7 (weight dependant) for the Rest Of the World. The calendar price includes a small donation towards the upkeep of the ZRoadster.net site.
HOW TO ORDER
Please PM Giles (not me) with your order, stating clearly your forum name, your real name and the full postal address to which you wish the calendar(s) to be sent, as well as the quantity of calendars you wish to purchase. Payment will be by cheque in pounds sterling, drawn on a UK bank. Giles will PM you back with his address and details of the amount and whom to make the cheque payable to. Orders will not be dispatched until a cheque has been received.
For those of you outside the UK, we should still be able to handle your order, again please PM Giles with your order as above, and he will respond with some possibilities on how you can pay. If you are outside Europe, he will also try to give you an idea of the postage costs for the number of calendars you wish to purchase.
You might also like to post in this thread to say "PM sent" so that we have an easy way of keeping track of whom we have taken orders from.
SNEAK PREVIEW
Cheers R.

Following the precedent set last year, I'd like to suggest the use of the calendar purchase as an excuse to send a bit more of a donation towards the upkeep of Zroadster.
So to start the ball rolling, I'd like to pay £10 each (plus P&P) for my calendars....
Purely voluntary of course.
No pressure intended.
My PM will be sent soon.

An update!
Cheques and payments are coming through, thank you for that.
Robert has sent me the artwork, but I have some quality issues I need to discuss with Robert (who is away on business until tomorrow) before we go to press.
Hopefully we'll have these sorted at the weekend and therefore can begin dispatch towards the end of next week. I would rather get the product looking the best it can rather than rush them through, so hopefully the calendars will arrive before Christmas for UK orders, but I can't promise that, sorry!

An update to the update!
I have spoken to Giles about a couple of minor issues with the calender, and we have made the decision to go to press without further ado.
The quality issues Giles mentioned were both very minor - one of which was an unfounded concern of mine over what I was seeing on the screen that isn't visible in print. The other was over some slight pixellation on a couple of the pictures, which doesn't detract from the calendar in any way.
Having seen the proofs, I am really pleased with our work, and I can't wait to see what you all think. We had some stunning photographs submitted and it was difficult choosing between them. I hope the calendar reflects our members interests well, and that the number of wet weather shots shows just what an enthusiastic bunch we are.
We are a little close to Christmas now, and with the postal system wheezing with festive fare, we can't promise you will have your calendars before then, but with a little luck, most of you will have them for the start of new year.
Cheers R.
