Perfect Music-Off Topic-ish
hello there, you may or may not know that i am a DJ, and in many ways my Z3 exemplifies the DJ lifestyle! It has certainly made my pulling potential double from 2% to 4%! anyways i digress, I have made a few new mixes in a house style for friends etc. and have posted them to my website and I hope you don't find this too off topic, but to bring it back in I am providing music for the car!
I can recommend disc 1 for all as it is quite summery and very musical, latin influenced and bright and cheerful! The second disc is more club music, but please do give it a whirl if you can. they are not overly big, about 50 mb each, so a synch for a broadbander!
Hope you like and let me know what you think, would love to hear some comments!

Very nice! I'm really into house (even do a few mixes myself with Traktor but they aren't up to release-to-public standard). This is great stuff! Thanks!
Is there a chance you could do a couple of cue sheets as it would be nice to burn them into seperate tracks (makes navigating to fave bits a bit easier).

would I be able to do that in nero? I make my CD's with track marks in, so If was to make a copy of that? Or can i generate a cue from one of those? I'll have a little poke around and see what i can do!komis wrote:Very nice! I'm really into house (even do a few mixes myself with Traktor but they aren't up to release-to-public standard). Sounds great, djrobbier. Thank you for sharing this with us. Bring on the summer weather!

yeah, it was more funky house, i suppose i wasn't giving the forum enough musical knowledge respect! I was hoping to lull some of uninitied in. To answer the questions, mix was recorded using turntables and cd decks! Thanks for listening, and maybe some suggestions for a Z forum dance music compilation? Maybe a mix of your fave tracks? I'm game!garyw wrote:Thought it more of funky house, not thumping enough for a hard drive, or laid back for a country meander, my motorway type music.. very well put together.
On PC or other ?

Hmmmm
I doubt there's much AC/DC or Van Halen in these compilations, but they're getting good reviews so I'll give them ago.
Six mins download time ain't too bad. They might even suit the trip to Lemans well. Not usually my bag, baby - but worth a try by all accounts!
Are the tracks similar to the "Rush Hour" albums? Cos No 1 is quite good when I'm in the mood for that kind of thing.
(PS I need nos 2 and 3 )

In God We Trust - everyone else gets PNC'd.
There very well may be a cross over from some of those compilations, they tend to be a but poppier in style, but i never close my ears to something just because it has become popular. with a bit of luck and through my judgement a few of these will cross over to the radio. I will make a post soon about a perfect driving compilation, the forum selects the tracks and i'll mix them together in a creative, dj-like fashion! glad the response is good generally though, thanks!
