Squeaking side window

Post by beemingallover »

On my 2006 E85 roadster the pax side window squeaks loudly on up and down movement, I assume it's the rubber guide seal that sits on the top for the door. I've tried silicone, other stuff including WD40, but no success. It did run quietly for a time a while back but don't know why.
I assume that the rubber has hardened. I can't find a replacement rubber online, tried the BMW parts list as well.
Any solutions out there please?
