Driving at 140mph, by his own admission, seems to increase the chances somewhat. There is a time and a place. Plonker. I would rather not be on the roads with people like him around (but glad he is okay).

That was right up until he went on to practically post the case for the prosecution on an internet forum, pictures and all.

This guy is the reason why most of the USA is covered by 55mph speed limits.

Is it still? I haven't set foot there for a good many years, but thought they'd relented on that in most states. :?:

As for the question of whether or not alcohol was involved, the accident report does not list alcohol as a contributing factor and the police department did not request a BAC test at the hospital. One of the things that the passenger was pressured to pursue was charges of intoxication assault. The passenger refused to do so.
Doesn't really answer the question, does it?
