Question guys.
Does anyone know how many miles you can get out of a full tank of an s50,

240ish miles driving moderately. 220 or less easily if you drive it like you stole it. :twisted:

That said, I have managed over 260 on a long motorway run cruising around 60. I didn't want to run out, but I'd say I could have possibly seen 280 miles out of it - not bad for a small tank coupled to a big lump. But seriously you don't buy one of these if you are going to be concerned about consumption. :wink:

Its just to plot re-fueling sites as i will be driving over night and not all the stations will be 24hr on route,

Shove a full jerry can in the boot just in case one is shut and you can't quite make it to the next one. When driving the frog, this is what is referred to by the grand name of the auxiliary fuel tank. :wink:

If you have sat-nav you can download the fuel stations for all the major brands. I've got all the Shell stations on mine - it makes planning journeys very easy.

Good idea but the boot is only small and there will be no room for a can with all the gear i have to take with me , Also pingu i have the same with the sat nav but it does not tell me if the station is 24hr So i will have to plan a route to pick up fuel on the way now i know how far i can go on a tank if i take it steady most of the time,
